    Designed and implemented a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) solution for a chemical business supported by supply planning, demand planning and inventory optimisation technology solutions integrated with their ERP solution resulting in improved alignment between Marketing, Sales and Operations and a significant reduction in inventory.

    Evaluated and optimised the end-to-end implications of sourcing a commodity through alternative ports for a global manufacturing-and-distribution business considering all complexities such as port dynamics, manufacturing dynamics, demand variability and inventory implications that supported strategic decision making processes.

    Supply chain optimisation

    Designed and implemented an alternative operations-and-supply chain planning-and-execution strategy for a multi-national high-volume manufacturing-and-distribution business to gear the business for growth resulting in an increase in throughput of 22%  whilst finished goods inventory reduced by 28% with no capital investment required.

    Designed, evaluated and optimised alternative road, rail, marine and storage strategies for a blue chip manufacturing business as part of a large scale supply chain optimisation capital program that clarified implications of alternative options and allowed effective decision making of the best strategic pathways forward.

    Completed a project for a blue-chip manufacturing business to evaluate and optimise the commercial-and-value chain implications of alternating the supply-and-conversion strategy of a key feedstock that resulted in clarification of best strategic options.

    Assisted a blue-chip business to evaluate the financial implications of future port and berth congestion at a key commercial port. This included testing alternative options to alleviate berth congestion and understanding which options would provide the largest business benefit.
